Busy busy busy. Part 2.
Hello again! I recently lost all of my Maya/Blender projects because a) my computer sucks and b) I was an idiot and didn't double check to see if I had backed up my projects. Nevertheless, lesson learned. However, I have since discovered that while I had been steadily improving, since getting everything back up and running (and being in possession of a 2TB hard drive for backup), I have cut my work time on Maya dramatically. I have just restarted a lost project (my Chaos Bike) and not only does it look a thousand times better, the individual pieces are taking a fraction of the time to re-create. For example, I created the engine block today: before it took me around two to three hours to complete. Today? Half an hour. Needless to say, I'm super chuffed with this and determined to have this completed by weeks end, I'm also beginning to play with human features and created my first skull. While the skull doesn't look amazing at the moment, I'm sure I'll improve quickly (I'll upload a comparison when it's finished).
Anyway, I'm getting a little side tracked, while I have been utilizing Maya again, I've also been taking quite a few photos while out on trips with the kids at my Early Childhood Centre and on the way to and from work:
These bonfire pictures were taken on a trip with the kids from my Early Childhood Centre. I just love how the flames are constantly changing:
Now this photo I'm quite proud of: I love it simply because the cloud formation is so different. I like to imagine it as some sort of futuristic star ship descending from the earths atmosphere.

A few days ago we had a really intense mist cover a very large area of our town. Now this may be a common occurance for some, but here, it's a very rare occurrence so I decided to take a few photos:
