A few Drawings.
I thought I should post up a few of the drawings I've done recently, while not the best, I'm definitely noticing improvement in my abilities. Seeing this improvement, no matter how minor or how long it takes, keeps me going. I'm still struggling with proportions, especially with facial structure, but I'm learning strategies to aid this. So, without further ado:
To highlight my improvement, I've chosen to pictures in particular:
The one below was what I had done, perhaps two months before the one on the right. As you can see, the one below is quite cartoonish and child-like, but with some new strategies and lots of practise, I came up with the one on the right.
By the way, I'm a huge Warhammer 40k fan, so you'll be seeing a lot of these types of creations on my blog. :D

This flag was another earlier project of mine. I had attempted to display it on an angle, torn and wind blown. I think if I revisited this now, i could a bit better, particularly with how the wind is blowing the torn halves.

This picture is of a very early piece of mine. I've found that I'm much better at designing weapons than anything else, whether it be a drawing or in Maya or Blender. I think I've posted this before paired with a 3D version, but I though I'd redo it because it's one that I'm most proud of, also, it's a better quality pic than the other one.
This skull is my latest drawing. I'm experimenting with shading a huge amount more than in past drawings, which I think is starting to pay off. Again, I'm still having issues with proportions, but those are next on my agenda to address.
I hope you've enjoyed perusing through my drawings and watching my development as an artist. Thanks!
