What a neglectful blogger I am...

Okay, so it's been a ridiculous amount of time since my last post, but I have a good reason! I've just finished my first semester at Media Design School and completed my first game! It's been a stressful but oh so fulfilling past four months. My artistic skills in 2d art have increased dramatically and I know so much more now that I did at the start of the year. And I can code!!!! Never thought I'd have the patience for, let a lone enjoy, that. Anyway, if you're interested in trying out my game, click the following links and you can download it for free. It's an isometric game with a strong focus on sound and light. A more detailed description is available through the links as well. Oh and it's free! Thanks guys and I'll see you later! Chaos Predator

Hey! So obviously, it's been a super long time since my last post, but I've been extremely busy with moving up to Auckland and starting my Creative Technologies degree! SO excited that I'm finally doing what I love and will get a job doing it as well (after three years that is :D). I've learned so much while studying there already and I've seen dramatic increases in my artistic capabilities, I can't recommend Media Design School enough. I'll link to it here if you're interested in studying with them. Anyway, I had created this a few months ago before everything got extremely busy, but never got around to posting it. I've made a few tweaks and experimented with colors a bit, not the best paint job but at least I'm trying right? This was also my first attempt at trying to implement/create a facial structure ever, as seen on the ends of the weapon barrels. I've also tried playing around with lighting which I think (and hope) lends a bi...

Dalek

Hey! Today I thought I'd post up the 3D Dalek that I just finished completed yesterday (for those who don't know what one is, shame on you, and go watch some Doctor Who :D). I had created one of these a while ago but when I lost all of my projects I lost the original version of this one. I thought I'd give it another go and this is what I came up with. Enjoy :D. I may try texturing this model at some point, but it won't be fancy as A; I still haven't gotten around to teaching myself the advanced stuff, and B; my computer simply can't handle the fancier textures. I've got a couple of other projects going at the moment, one which is really pushing my skills to the limits, but I'm super excited because my degree in Creative Technologies starts in a little under two months! Hope you're all having a great day, I know I am :D Ciao!
